The oak leaf painting, part 2! I've put up a longer version on my Facebook Page (link in Biođ). It takes time to paint a leaf, and layers of paint. You need to paint around the veins- you'll see that mine are kept white for quite a while. A glazing layer will tie it all together. I use two brushes... a small one to apply the paint and a second one (a filbert) to blend and smooth.
